Good amp for Audioque HDC3 12?

I have been doing a lot of looking around. I see a lot of people using the AQ 2200 with it. How about the hifonics BRZ 2400? I think I want to find a Rockford T2000 or somewhere in there. I have a T1000 on it right now and its pretty loud but I know it has more potential so I might as well try to get a bit more. What do you guys think?

I just traded a friend one of my amps for his, Hifonics BXi1600. I am not so sure I need anything more then that. It is pretty crazy loud. If I come across a good deal on a bit bigger amp then I may go that route. I am very impressed with this sub! I had a 10w7 before and this hdc3 gets way louder and when I have the volume all the way up you can tell the notes are more separated. I love it!

it can take 2k, so if you find an amp that's not balls and will actually put out some clean power then you will be able to get the most out of your sub

I got a hifonics bxi1600 today. The sub is crazy loud with that amp. I really like it, I can't imagine another 500-1000 watts on it. I want to see the subs potential but I need to sell my rockford before I get anything bigger.

Yea, I like how much harder it hits. Its hard for me to explain. On rap when you have a constant bass going then a drum beat hits or a different bass frequency hits then you feel it a lot. The W7 started to almost blend together on full volume. Boomzabit has my old 10w7. It is a sweet sub but I am really really liking this hdc3 a lot!

An amp that will do 1500-2kw clean power. No need to run more than that, you're only shortening the life of your woofer imo.

I had a pair of 12" HDC3 w/ aluminum coils. I absolutely loved them, great sub for the price. I wouldnt run much over 1500-1700 daily myself, but many people do.
