good amp for 4 IA 187's?

any ideas?? i would like to keep it under 500$ if possible but i would be willing to go a little higher. also what would a good amp be for 4 type-R's?

p.s. i have the room of the type-R's

IIRC, are the 187's able to handle 600 w rms, if so those amps should be good.

A single 20.1 @ 1 ohm would be a perfect match for 4 187's.......very loud combo

Yea, the 187s can take 1000 clean if you know what your doing. 300RMS is very conservative.

why not go with a more SQ oriented 15" super-woofer and send it maybe 1000-1500 watts...im sure ud be happier

Yea, Ive done 4 12s, 187s actually. Sold them to HotCarl. Now that setup is replaced with a 18" Q on the same amp. Its louder, not as impressive looking but impressive none the less.

I had 2 187 12's on a 20.1 @ .5 ohm and ran them for about a year before I changed setups......they held up well
