Good 5.25" comps

I have a 2000 grand prix gtp and the stock door speakers are 5.25". i would really like to do 6.5s but i have heard it sucks trying to fit them in this car. i have an audiopulse axis 15" and a sundown 3000 that will be going in soon. my component amp is a digital designs c2 that does 150x2@4 ohms and i believe it's underrated. my question is, what are some good 5.25" comps that can handle that power fine and go well with my axis on about 2500 watts? i would say i'm looking to spend around $350-ish, if not then probably more. i would like the comps to have some good mid bass considering the axis is a low end beast.

also, does anyone have experience trying to fit 6.5"s in a 2000 or similar grand prix?

just get some 5.25 comp. not worth the hassel make 6.5's fit

i've done some research and checked some build logs and most of the people said it was a pain in the ***. i'm also not very experienced with this so i dont see myself doing anything super complicated to fit them.

I have an 01 GTP. Depth is part of the issue. I had MDF rings that stuck out 1/2 inch and fit depth wise. The main issue after that is the door panel. Especially on the coupes where that plastic angled speaker grill is located in the bottom of the door. The top is so thick that it rubs on top of the speaker when mounted in the door. I took my Dremel and shaved of most of the plastic and the top two tabs the where the speaker cover mount in.
