Making the wrong, hastey decision yet again... and skipping straight to permaban.

You permabanned mazdakid, without researching... or asking any questions.

His IP matched with mazdakid, what... once... out of HOW MANY DOZEN IP's?

These are mazdakid's...

(I listed them, but there are well over 100 IP's)...

Now he has contacted me...

Ok, since apparently MikeOfTulsa cannot handle his banning powers... and we all have different feelings on the severity and duration of bannings, we need to devise a list...

Post Dumping, Flaming, Dealers, Advertising, Soliciting sales, Violation of TOS, ******/****, Harassment, etc, etc, etc...

We need to develop a list for 1st, 2nd, 3rd offense... then there can be equality and fairness across the board for all similar offense and NO confusion what so ever.

Also, since we aren't discussing bannings like we should... I believe ANY ban of a normal user longer than 90days should be discussed on a case-by-case basis. This excludes spambots, user with an already banned account, etc.

I'm willing to make a spreadsheet/list of all the offenses along with the appropriate ban length that I see fit... and posting it here for approval.

Also, keep the user warnings thread updated. AND, if you're too lazy to search to see if it's the users 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. offense... then you can only impose the minimum ban.

Please comment and post as necessary.
