there are lots places to buy beer cheap, like rite-aid and similar drug stores. no need to bring it with you.
as long as you are gambling they will give you free drinks. the bar poker machines are the fastest way to get served, but you can also sit at a penny slot and play $0.01 per pull and get drinks as well.

while freemont st is cheaper i prefer to stay somewhere on the strip. you can walk the strip 24/7 but i would not suggest going past the ends of the casinos on freemont. it's a pretty seedy neighborhood and i never felt safe walking there after dark and i am 6'1" and 260.

be sure to register for a players card at bellagio, mgm or a similar larger casino. mgm owns about 80% of the strip now so the same card will work anywhere. they had a promotion going where anyone with a card got 3 free nights (even weekends) though march, so a friend and i went for 6 nights and stayed at monte carlo for free. they even gave you a $30 credit towards things charged to the room.

while you are at mgm (hopefully eating at the rainforest cafe) check out the lions. kinda tourist-y but it's nice to see.

coyote ugly is a smaller bar on the top level of NY NY that has moderately priced drinks and can get pretty lively at night. no where near the size of a club but no where near club pricing.

yea the Hood is seedy, but the cops dont play here, especially if your ****ing with tourist, quick way for a beat down from the po po...

Get your beer from supermarkets here, Smith's is hella cheap, and a couple near the strip.

be careful of the reserved tables and 'bottle service' as they can get very, very expensive. last year we spent a night in tao with a table and got buy 2 get 1 free bottles (grey goose) and they charged about $400 per bottle. no shit.

Yep thats vegas, oh and Tao puts water in the bottles at the bar, saw it with my own sober eyes. If you have a table, you are garuanteed poon. Chicks will think ur rich and be all over you. Then you can smash in dash, ditch the *****. The only way to sit down is to have a table, so mention you have a table to a bee-yotch, and thats it LOL

they take an id and a credit card as you walk in and pre-charge your card to see if you can cover the bill. no way around paying for it if you want to sit.

x2 on the chicks. there were 3 of us and 3 chicks we met earlier in the day who went with us, but a few hours later and we were all with new chicks. money is one hell of an aphrodisiac.

spearmint rhino is nice. all clubs are alcohol/topless except for little darlins, which is **** nd no alcohol. darlins, like freemont, is a little more on the seedy side. be prepared to pay a lot. most cover charges are $15-40 per person, dances range from $20-50 per song.
