Going from Wisconsin to Louisiana. Any advice?

I have lived in a town of 2500 in rural Wisconsin all my life and am now going to LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana next August. Anyone have any advice about the change? Whether it be about Louisiana, or just going from that small of a town to a city.

u pansies are telling a kid from Wisconsin to be prepared for the cold? LOLOLOL please.. We have a 3 month average of below zero weather.. Try 70 below wind chill and 50 below air temp if you think your 30 is so cold..
