I have 2 Kicker CVRs dual 4 ohm, and I just got the same subs only dual 2 ohm. I was looking at some diagrams and stuff and it looks like I can just hook them up the same way the dual 4 ohms were. Just checking to make sure I don't screw anything up. Also, do I need to change something on the amp??? its a zx750.1. If I'm wrong about the wiring then please help me. THANKS. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well if they were wired to the amp at 1ohm then the new speakers will not be as loud as the old ones. However the amp wasn't designed to be run @ 1ohm so the new speakers would be a better match. If the old ones were wired to the amp at 4ohm then the new speakers will be louder when wired in series giving the amp a 2ohm load.
