Between Tha Carter 1 and Tha Carter 2, that's when Lil Wayne started to get his weasel voice. The Carter 3 had a few ok-songs, but his last good album was C2. The problem with Lil Wayne is his content. He raps about nothing. There is no overall picture or theme or anything.

That was a lil harsh on my part, don't get me wrong he is good but more or less I support him for his movement back to good hip hop but I still don't think he is what ppl make him out to be, I'm all about bringing thought out lyrics and solid delivery back to the rap game but these folks out here comparing him to biggie and Pac etc. etc. need to get there skulls examined. It's just like A$AP and that whole crew I'm not belittling their talent I'm just sayin there are ppl out that said the Kendrick album was lyrically above illmatic and that's retardation at its finest.

ok there u go...cleared it up..and yes anyone saying its above illmatic is stupid. anything above Jay z's reasonable doubt u would get slapped in the face...hes a great artist..but nowhere near where everyone is saying he is
