God D@MN RIMS.....

first off what u need to do is watch where u drive. I am constantly lookin at the rood ahead. I do not run over metal nor do i drive on mysterious roads. Just be more careful.

they would prob weld it from the inside and put some type of sealer in the crack along with over the weld...sounds like it would hold to me:)

not being round? theres only 1 true way to find that out...i have a feeling you'll be fine

Well I have spoken to like 3 guys that have had their rims fixed by this place in Miami, and one guy had it done over a year ago, and none of them have had problems to this date. So when I get someone to ride down to Miami with me, the rim shall be fixed, and my car will no longer look like a POS on one side (then paintjob!)

the 2 sides of the crack used to be connected, therefor there is a gap where there used to be rim..it is not round. Its one thing to bend a rim and have em heat it up and spin it, but its completely different when its cracked..and they have to weld it on both sides.

Ive had my rims fixed 3x...everyone of the rims cracked 3x, not just 1 or 2.

I learned a long time ago that aftermarket wheels especially big wheels with low pros are nothing but trouble and a total waste of money..

stick to stocks or factory upgrade

Wow thanks for contributing something man!
I happen to like them, so get the fuck out of the thread and **** a dick you *******. I am sure you car is loved by EVERYONE right? FU
Insulting sexuality us +1 ego points, right? Even if my car isn't loved by everyone it still doesn't look tacky.

my brother has 22" momo's with a 40 series tire i think. never had any problem in two or three years. my dads car has 18" HRE's with 35 series tires, no problems.

Coundn't you just tig weld the crack and polish it smooth?. Properly done, the tig weld would be the strongest point on the rim and a quick wheel balance would make up for any weight differences.

I would talk to a professional welder and get a second opinion.
