So I bought these for a friend of mine who had a newer silverado,he sold the truck and never paid me back!!! So I got them back from him and now they are for sale. I got a pair from "kroid777" so I don't need these. They are for 5.25 mid and tweeter. You can cut them as I have done with mine to make a 6.5" mid fit but that depends on you. They fit 99-2006 gm suv and trucks.

Q-logic probably makes them.. and sells them for a lot more than what the OP is asking for.

Mineral wool is another nice dammned good insulation fire proof. Prob same as the Rock wool mentioned. that stuff will last forever

Yep. That's exactly what I did. I tried it with my 1/4" flush trim bit, but it didn't leave enough space for the mesh to press the way I wanted...
