heres the deal:...the Earth has been heating up and cooling down since the beginning of its time.....every few centuries itll have a meltdown then an iceage...its just how things go....kids in school these days (including me..will be starting sr. year in HS) are taught that greenhouse gases are horrid and the earth gonna melt...well my rents were taught that another ice age was in the works....and has anybody else noticed that all these greenhouse gases are actually helping?...next time you goin down a heavily traveled road look around...all the vegetation is thriving...due to the carbon dioxide being released from cars....this in turn puts more oxygen in the air because the plats are thriving....just my 2 cents.

all we did in HS (will be starting senior year as well) was watch An Inconvenient Truth with Al Gore..

Simple Terms: The Earth has cycles of meltdown (global warming) and iceages. The greenhouses gases are helping the land, shown by thriving vegetation near roads because plants grow using carbon dioxide and in turn release oxygen for us to breathe. But its all just a natural cycle being sped up by the effects of greenhouse gases on the atmosphere.

It is a big deal and people need to stop blowing it off like it is nothing. Of corse I am not going to go out and change my entire life over night, they need to find a good balance on this subject.

If people were to actually look at the statistics, they would see that scientists are actually finding that we are in a cooling pattern right now.

I am also going into my senior year of high school and unfortunately I have had to watch Al Gores horrible documentary around 5-6 times now.. Such as it is in the public school systems where anything that is put out by government officials must be true..
