Global Warming is BS! I have proof!

Global warming isn't literal. It infers a change in climate overall and and radical weather in general because of the altered water levels.

Or so I've heard //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Well, whether or not global warming is being caused by humans or a natural cycle is still somewhat debatable at the moment.

However, it is fact that the earth is getting warmer, ice sheets are melting, and carbon dioxide emissions are rising. Just a little //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

It's a balmy 39 this morning on the southern Oregon Coast. If I didn't know any better I'd swear this is January...LOL! Portland has had record cokl for April and snow, along with hail, is still occurring in various places in Oregon.

This is the worst spring I've ever seen.

Funny how he criticizes me without doing any research. Global warming is actually widely debated among the scientific community.
First, it is hard to conduct a valid survey of all scientists. However, in climate science circles, the term "consensus" is used to refer to the stand that the IPCC takes, which is

"An increasing body of observations gives a collective picture of a warming world and other changes in the climate system... There is new and stronger evidence that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities.
In 2004, Naomi Oreskes analyzed papers submitted to various scientific journals with over 75% agreeing in full or acknowledging the possibility that the IPCC's position is correct. Beyond that, most major scientific organizations have endorsed the IPCC's report.

Did you know that denying the existence of global warming is also a multi-million dollar business? In the same way that Al Gore makes way too much money talking about global warming, lobbyists and scientists are paid by companies to deny that global warming exists.

Now I personally don't know whether our impact is that large. There are certain undeniable facts, like the increase in temperature despite solar variation that should have resulted in a temperature decrease....and the increased emissions are undeniable. I believe that the scope of data that has been reviewed is too small for me to completely accept global warming as 100% truth, but I also believe that the data we do have which has been reviewed by many people much smarter than anyone in this thread indicates that global warming is a distinct possibility and, dare I say, a likely reality.

I stopped caring about the global warming arguments. I just think everyone should no problem accepting the fact that we're speeding up the process and ****ing up the world ourselves, whether it is a natural cycle or not.
