I had my sub box in between my front seats once...didn't sound anywhere near as good. I didn't play around with the aiming at all either, so that might have changed something.

but, based on Frost's enlightening comment, i would say DEFINITELY DEFINITELY put them in the back seat. there's no other way, really. you should gain at least 13 dBs from that...
