I hope not. Fuel pump was replaced less than a yr ago. Sounds like it's not getting gas.....but gas gauge shows 3/4 full unless someone cyphened my gas again. It sure wants to try but.....man sometimes I wish I was a mechanic.

could be coil packs, they easy,, if not starter.. we had to replace something on wifes old car like a fuel pump sensor or something 2 yrs after we did the fuel pump..

Older tahoes have a distributor not coil packs.

What brand did you install before?
Airtex brand goes bad fast so delphi is recommended.

If its cranking but wont start then it could be the fuel pump or fuel injectors.

Honestly, not sure since my mechanic replaced it. Funny you mention Delphi, I just got done replacing the EGR valve.....it was running really rough and my wife happened to talk to mechanic about it and suggested the egr valve. Delphi brand.

I plan to block off the egr valve, just need a tune for it so i dont get a code.
The intake is dirty as cr4p from it, i will only lose 1-2mpg from it anyway.

Got told it won't start unless muffler piping is connected to the cat...not sure if I should believe that or not.

Hillbillys run open headers for the sound lmao..
You lose mpg when the piping isnt connected since you lose back pressure

Back pressure is a myth.

Not in larger motors and turbo setups..
Stock setups have no use of back pressure so it wont affect anything, but in my case with a 5.7l the back pressure is a restriction for power but a gas saver.

Oh God.. Kinda like how everyone says EXO is so smart and knows everything car audio related.. That tard was running 2 18s and 2 15s not that long ago and told everyone to run peal and seal..
