I'm looking at how i'm gone to wire up 2 2500d's and my 4-channel amp, i plan on running 2 yellowtops in the trunk, and i want to run 2 runs of 1/0 gauge wiring, so would i have each run connected to battery and then have 1 2500d to each battery and then the 4-channel amp hooked up to one of the batteries? and sorry for the confusing pic lol!

First off, for two 2500d's and a 4 channel (assuming your running the 2500's at 1 ohm each) your gonna need more than two yellowtops. do you have a high output alternator?

second off, i would reccomend grounding battery to battery (dont ground to the frame)

thirdly, i would do one positive and one negative run to the front battery before doing two positive runs and grounding to the frame. Just daisychain the two rear batteries.

fourth, i would fuse between the amp and battery before fusing between batteries.

sixth, everything looks good other then that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Yea a 250 amp alternator

Yea i Meant to draw that

I heard that doing that long of a negetive run isn't good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

yea thats another mistake too

I have two kinetik 2400's, a kinetik 800, and a 250amp mechman alternator, and handle 4200-ish rms. Only a few songs will drop me into 12 volts, or cause dimming.

with 5k+rms, i would highly reccomend more battery power.

Other than that, and what i have already said, it'll work well.

True in some cases (resistance). You cant beat a battery-to-battery ground though. Its a nice clean connection through your electrical system. You'll also have a lot lower chance of issues like ground loops.
