Girl survives 19 hour torture and ****

Whenever I hear a story like this, of course my first reaction is "What the ****? What a piece of garbage."

But then I start to think, what would it be like to do that to another human being? What mindset would you have to be in to feel like that is something you ought to be doing?

I mean, physically, we are all capable of doing terrible shit 24/7. I find it somewhat fascinating to consider what, exactly, this guy's mental canvas is like to allow him to break the border and actualize that absurd limit of what we COULD do.

I want to have a conversation with this guy now.

probly on a bed of money.
I do always wonder what the lawyers talk about to defendants in these types of cases, though. Like what can you really say to him? You know he is a piece of shit, you know he has problems and deserves to die. What do you converse about with someone like that?
Their objective is to try and get his sentence reduced or an insanity plea; essentially to manipulate words and try to find loopholes. They see if as just one of those aspects of the job, and try and remove the human element from their client. My dad is a lawyer (bankruptcy/business), so he doesn't deal with that sort of stuff, but my mom's boss does.

Yeah but he was found fit for trial. And I think I know why. Everything he did was calculated as hell and he was very aware of what he was doing, by the thing he supposedly said.

But I dont know, you would think they have to actually talk about other shit outside of the case. but maybe not. I dont know.

elementxero, I guess so, what questions would you ask him?

You don't say much because your client is in jail. Some don't even ask if they did it or not because it would even bias them and their adequate representation of the client. It's no different than the lawyers representing the 9/11 terrorists...but you know those lawyers are at least being paid well...this guy might have been appointed a PD.

I think I would just want to talk to him, see where his mind naturally veers, and just sort of steer him inwards until I start to understand how he thinks.

Mine is not a curiosity about specifics so much as it is a curiosity of what it feels like to have his consciousness. I don't think I have questions, per se, but I have a "line of conversational direction" that I want to follow.

I'm a little psychotic myself, although in a completely non-violent, keep-everyone-else-out-of-it sort of way, so I feel like somehow I could warp my brain into the mold he'd make with the conversation and feel what he feels.

I imagine that it's nothing like what we'd assume.

that is one of the sickest things ive read in a while.

i cant WAIT till im done with my bullshit charges so i can get a ccw. me and the gf will both be ready for some mother****er to try some shit.

****ing sick mother****ers.

well yeah, but i mean, everyone is gonna have a bias. Everyone in this thread seems liek they want to torture him back and havent even talked to the suspect.

I see what you mean. I wonder that about a lot of people.

I couldn't have put it better myself. I just can't imagine being able to emotionally/mentally distance myself from that person enough to be able to do/tell them to do those kinds of things.

That aside, he must have had either a reason (no matter how insane) or a strong desire to do this. I would be curious as to: why did he do it?, would he do it again if given the chance, what was his life like, how far back did he plan it?, did he plan it at all?

This story doesn't really make me sick, it honestly just makes me extremely curious. Was the poor woman randomly picked? I'd like to see what she looks like. This whole thing seems very odd, they never said her name or showed her picture.

I don't know if you're being sarcastic, but if you are: don't take what I said the wrong way. What he did was terrible, I just find it fascinating.
no, i was being somewhat serious. Dont people in thee types of situations usually get book deals sometimes?

and about the writing a letter, i was serious.

Lol there's no way he would get a book deal. Even if he somehow wasn't convicted. Writing a letter would be really hard to do. Even if I could, I don't know if I would ever want anyone to think I associated with him.
