Anyone have some pictures of stained baltic birch?

Long story short, my wife wants a new dining room table and i'm gonna build it for her. Solid oak is outrageously expensive so i thought some baltic birch would work fine but i want to see it stained before i buy.

In audio terms though, ugly is always louder, correct?

Is ugly, that is for sure. I would hate to eat my dinner on a table that color, lol!

It was nice at one time before we stained it. 13 ply Baltic Birch we bought from specialty wood store. I looked really nice just sanded, but then I saw the tinted stain, and figured I would try it. It was ugly, but hit 145.4 in the trunk of my Grand Prix with a DD 9512 and Autotek 2000.1
