The experiment in no way, shape, or form caused her death other than her hearing about it and she was afraid of it.

If he feels he cant take it any more, and that is the option he chooses, then they are to blame. This really isnt that hard of a concept.

If you are killing yourself for a reason, then that reason is to blame.

You leave a letter saying "I am killing myself because ______" implies there is a reason.

Other than just one day you shoot yourself in the face for no reason. Then its all on you.....experimenting......
