Giggity, giggity, giggity..... I'm ready to finally get started installing my system

I am officially more jealous. I'd assume the 300.2 is for your 2-way's?
I have an Art AX400 4 channel that I am using currently until someone buys it. Then the 300.2 will be used on the horns while a Mcintosh 4 channel is ordered. As much a I love PPI Art, the plan is to replace the amps with the Mcintosh 4 channel and 2 channel.

I was nearly a second away from running Butler Tubedriver amps and changed my mind.

you cut me real deep on that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. lol j/k if the price were/is right i might snag em' from ya lol. stupid water damage in my old closet at my rents ruined all my ppi arts i had.

No sooner did I write that than someone on bimmerforums.com pledged to buy the AX400 and so it should be sold when he returns online.

Looks like I am going Mcintosh shopping //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I'll only need to add about $400 with the $220 from the AX400 and I'll be good to go. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ......for one mid amp.

I did however accomplish one thing tonight //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I didn't have the stupid climate vents pushed all the way in before I snapped that shot. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

I had to bring out some old tricks from my install days to get it in there. The trim ring is actually a two single din trim that had a slit in the middle as a separator and the trim ring itself did not clear all the way around. I had to slice the center divider out and stretch the trim ring 1/8 th inch with a heat gun and form it around the radio.

It went on though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The factory radio in the Lexus IS300 is Fujitsu Ten (eclipse of course) so it was already "decent" but has an underpowered external amp and the speakers are not as good as the radio was capable of.

Oh and there is one more little annoyance I have to take care of tomorrow. The radio lights up green. I've done a lot of conversions before like this alpine conversion that was going in a BMW: http://lextech.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=147 so it shouldn't be too big of an issue to swap the Mcintosh over to amber. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
