Name is maaz. i'm just tryin to get a good build goin. i just ordered a kdc-x598 which should be neat. I also have a 10" sony xplod with 350w rms and have a 2 channel kenwood amp that does 200w bridged. i'm lookin for guidance on what to do next and have been lookin at this forum site for months now. i looked into vibe audio, SSA audio, FI audio, Audioque Audio, DC audio and several other companies. Hear me out and help me out. i got a 05 hyundai elantra gls 4 door with a free trunk and everything stock. question is what do i do?

You mention you have a sub and amp, but then list several subwoofer companies you've looked into. Are you wanting to know how to hook up what you have, or saying you want to buy something different...? kmanian has a point, you need to be much more specific with your question(s).

Sounds to me like hes asking for recommendations for an upgrade.

OP- if you are gonna run any decent amount of power look into upgrading your electrical system first. Your alternator is probably 90amps if you're lucky.

I actually know Maaz personally. He tried to put a little system together a while ago. Then he REALLY got into car audio and know wants to go much much bigger. I'm certain hes asking for things to upgrade to.

I'm thinkin 2 dcons and a mono block but what would you guys recommend for me. i'm thinkin mechman for an alternator because steve meade is a hero to me and i don't know any other H.O alternator companies. for batts i'm goin with shuriken so no worries there.

lol, i see many of people trying to be Steve Meade, unfortunately hes not that loud. people think he is the car audio master of loud.

yes he is loud, but there are even people on here who could **** him in spl numbers, even with less equipment than he has.

what i hate the most, is when i see someone trying to be like someone else with their system build.

my advice, look @ some good equipment online, and see what you like. FI, DD, DC, etc for subs, amplifier wise, you don't have to spend alot of money to get a decent amp, it always better to spend your money on a sub woofer, and you can spend a little less on the amplifier. personally i like the planet audio bb2400.1 for the price, you can get one for around 300 new, and it'll do 2000rms(not the advertised 2400rms). look into some of the better hifonics amps, kicker, rockford. if its in you budget look @ sundown audio amps.

also its a really good idea to buy used, search the classifieds here you may be able to find a good deal on some equipment.

and upgrade your electrical, i always go for at least an upgraded alternator first, battery later.

also what kind of power are you trying to run, are you looking into running 1000watts rms? 2000rms. this is important for a few reasons, one being the extent of power upgrades you will need, wiring gauge etc. and

i'm lookin for something that will make my ride bump. 1000w should be enough for that depending on whats subs i choose. I'm on a pretty tight budget atm so sundown is a no go but i know their amps are legendary. i want something that wouldn't cost much but at the same time give me a good amount of power. the MB quart ONYX 1000w is attractive for both but question is would it really put out that much power?

2 sa12d4's on a saz1500d and you will be MORE Then happy, get someone to build you a good box. make sure you install alternator and 0 gauge big 3, 0 gauge to rear and shuriken battery before you do the other stuff. i would look into getting a kinetik over the shuriken bro, i have had both and the shuriken is half the price for a reason.

kinetik doesn't make any underhood battery for my car. What company alternator would you recommend? and Sundown is out of my budget....
