im gettin a 200 alternator for my mustang.so i was wondeirng wat could i be running for amps with easy.i was lookin at crunch 3000 or orion 2500d.could i pull these amps off without dropin voltage.

ok so you have the alt, now get the batteries. 200amp alt with enough batteries will be good for 5-6kw daily IMO

Might get away with one of the larger ones, but 2 batteries is what I would go with as a minimum for 3k rms, even with an alt, your amp still eats amps and you only have so many

You'll need at least two heavy duty batteries...Batcap 2000's would be good...with one battery and all the extra amps from the alt a standard battery may pop because it will recharge too fast...unless you play your volume wide open from the time you get in your vehicle till the time you get out....thats why you need two good batteries to take the stress off your main battery

get one batt for upfront and one for the back.

i would do a powermaster d3400 under the hood, that should fit no prob. and a d2700 or d3100 in the back

i run two Batcap 2000's in my Saleen...one up front..one in the trunk....i'm running a DD M3 at 1ohm daily with no dimming....
