I had some amplifers we decided to not use last season. I list them on ebay for a speedy sale with super good prices.

This guy (Roland Mohabir). Get delivery conformation on a USPS letter and sends it out. The letter gets delivered to my store mailbox. (no signature conformation)

Suposedly there was a MO inside for $285. He mails me nd asks if I got it. I say. "I did't get it personally. But Ill scheck on it." So I ask the guys around here and no one says they got it etc. etc. He sends me another mails asking. I told him I would go through my bank statement and see idf there was a deposit for $285 as I am not the only peson who makes the store deposits.

Well there wasn't one. So I get accused of stealing his money. Heclaims he has the ser# from the check and will prove I cashed it, call the police and slam me on the forums...............now if you have this info why not just give it to me in the first place so I can look for the check number on my deposit slips or call the issuing company and request a copy of the cancelled check?

Seems to me we got shipped an empty letter BC this info is not being provided. He just keeps saying. "you got my money. I have proof it was delivered" I say he has proof a "letter" was placed in my box. I have not seen anyproof there was ever a check in it.

someone would have had to sign something for there to be proof. if you have no deposits for that amount, i don't see how he could have proof of anything. is it possible that someone deposited numerous money orders at once? making that specific amount not show up on bank records.

All checks have to be listed individually on the deposit records. If he has the numer all I would have to do is look for it on my deposit slpis. Instead of being on a goose chase.

i would force his hand. tell him there is nothing you can do without the numbers. has he filed anything against you through ebay?

Just eats my *** how some people act. They think that my reputataion and business is worth thier $285.

An item not received dispute.

I had a rough time last year with some backorders and was trying to get my feedback cleaned up again.

I'd say your fine Neill, sounds a little fishy to me.

Think nothing of it until it actually becomes an actual problem (if it hasn't already)... and explain it exactly the way you did here to anyone who sides with that guy.

Get a valid serial number... and have USPS search it.

file a NPB on him. i`ve had the same thing happen. the moron even files with the internet fraud on me. when thay told him to show proof of me cashing the money order he couldn`t show it because i never even recieved it. most likely he got in trouble for filing a false report.

If he used the post office in his little scam, threaten him with mail fraud and see if he changes his tune. They still take that offense more seriously than internet fraud.
