Get loud!

I wanna get loud! What would you guys suggest for a loud set up. I thought i wanted sq, but decided I want to get loud and still sound good. I have an '04 ?Honda Pilot. Current equipment I have is as follows: Kenwood Excelon KDC-693, Diamond D662A Components, Diamond 363.5 coaxials, Arc Audio KS900.6, Kicker 10" Dual 2 Ohm sub, and a Rockford 3Sixty.2. I enjoy the system, but just want to get loud overall. I do not want to become a basshead, just want a good old rocking system.

Well, if you wanna get louder, get a mono block amp, and a new sub(s). And a custom enclosure built for those subs. Deadener for your car as well will make a tremendous difference. We need to know your budget or power preference on mono amp and sub(s). You wanna do four 12s, two 18s, two 10s?

The subwoofer of choice is not as important as the enclosure you choose. How much room are you willing to give? In that vehicle, I would run multiple subwoofers, ported. Possibly 4 x 10" Arc Audio "Arc" series or KAR series subwoofers, ported will do just fine with that amplifier bridged (550wrms).

Enclosure is number 1. without that, it won't give you the full potential!

An Obsidian Audio 15 would do well on the 550 watts with the sub channels bridged. Would get decently loud and sound great in a ported enclosure. I eat, sleep, breath Arc/Focal... If your not in FL I don't make a PENNY!

Even if you were, I wouldn't care about the $$.. Most people have not experienced Arc Audio, even though we have dozens of great reviews, world championship SQ cars, people who CARE that answer the phone & oh yea... Products that work, don't break & that are reasonable cost.

You should try a few products (with a open mind)

I'm not directly advertising it. I'm recommending products that work 100% in their application. I'm not on the Arc Audio payroll & 99.999% of people on this forum who buy Arc, I will receive $0.00. But what I will receive are thank you PM's, VERY happy consumers & people who will ENJOY their systems for years down the road. That's all I care about! Sorry for loving Arc products & recommending the best for their application. Under promise & over deliver!! That's my goal!! I want no financial gain...
