Germanium vs OZ Matrix Elite 180cs

I am looking to switch my front stage from my current JBL Gti components. They will be in the stock locations in my Benz (mids in the doors, tweets in the sails). The door is deaded and sealed fairly well. They will be ran actively from my A/D/S/ P840 which will provide 120+ to the mids and 40-50 to the tweets. I listen to a wide range of music. I am more into sound clairty/quality than I am blaring loud crap.

I have always wanted to try the Germs, but I've ran across a really good deal on the new style OZ's.

Thoughts? Pros/Cons of each?

i had an older set of the OZ comps, the tweets took 60 all day long, and the mids didnt like 200, so i set the gains to 125~ 150 and they sounded excellent.

The newer OZ's are even better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I heard that OZ was out of business- but I never really heard why.

I don't know which to go with. Both sets are brand new. The Germs are $100 more- which in the grand scheme of things, that's not much money.....compared to all of the other money I've got in engine and suspension mods on the car:D

I am leaning towards the Germs- mainly because that's what I wanted prior to buying my JBL Gti setup. But, I found a deal on the Gti components, that I couldn't pass up. Besides- I already had a W12GTI sub that I was going to use:D
