Germanium Midbass Vs Adire Koda's Midbass

From what I recall the Koda midbass is a much, much warmer and thicker sounding than the Germs. I feel the Germs mid can reproduce the more precise, sharper sound of certain drums and transition to the leading edge of the guitar, bringing out more detail in those lower octaves. Its likely the tonal tendencies of the different cone materials.

I say go for the sound you want, for the music you listen to. Whether its a warm/smoother approach or a more detailed one if you listen to music with heavy dynamic content.

I personally loved the sound of the koda's. I'm kinda kicking my self in the *** for selling them.

I did how ever finally make a desicsion on what to get to replace them.
