LOL, i was just taking a guess... It came off a lil weird i guess, not in the best mind frame at this point.

I was thinking that maybe he and his father wanted to start their own amp company and come out w/ boards/cases from a different buildhouse than the normal.

kind of, he wants to know if there are because my uncle lives in hamburg and they have stakes in electronics and raw material firms there and the current buildhouse i have been wanting to use in korea is saying over a year lead time before amps arrive...

but i dont want to have a german buildhouse because the amps will be toooo expensive for the average joe, no matter if we get great deals on them through connections or whatever

Nobody that buys an amp in that power class is really going to pay a premium for that kind of thing.

Thats very very true... But then there are far and few companies like Sound Digital and Stetsom, which from what has been said have much different boards than other big power amps out there.

Their footprint alone sets them apart from anything else in their power range.

for arguments sake OP... how would you explain to a potential client the difference between

your amplifier and RD, AQ, Atomic, Sundown and the many other brands that come from the same buildhouse.

think carefully and give a good enough reason to buy your brands amplifier over all the other SAME ones with different STICKERS and LOGOS on them....

no, its my venture, with his funds lol

and yeah i understand the whole rebadging thing that most companies do....

but i will undercut all the competitions prices, because im not going into this for sole profit, more for experience

so in a way there will be a difference, price ahah
