seems like alot of people are actually into older gaming systems now than any current one. everyone i know has been talking about mario kart
Yea true, and the fact that my generation pretty much started the gaming system with NES when i was 5, and I got used to those type of games, fun to play, not overly difficult, and you could play over and over again.. I dont get that from 90% of the games these days.. I think the only game on my 360 gamertag that i have all achievements for it the Sonic , Mega genesis collection , lolI think the games we played as kids were more fun to us back then than new games, because well it was all new to us. Every game that we played was a new style to us back then...even though it might have been used previously on some older system.
Of course most all new games feel the same to us, we've played them all before...they're just more pretty now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Why do you think the Wii is so popular? It's something new, and was done right.

I agreee with boomin as well.. Cuz at that point Console gaming as a whole was brand new, so obviously weve never seen games like that before.. And coming from an atari 2600 , the NES was the greatest thing ever, and the games were long, original, and you could play for hours, the 16 bit era took all that to the next level graphically, but with the same types of games.. When the Playstation 1 came out was when things got interesting, with a new generation of games we never saw. But now, its so competitive its just about who can make what system do more, not really what game can we take to the next level..Excellent way to put it. However I did enjoy the Genesis quite a bit more than my SNES. Although I did play a hell of alot of DK country, Chorno Trigger, and Mario. But Genesis had my favorite games though: Sonic, Streets of Rage, Shonibi 3, Vector Man, plus more! The Dreamcast was my favorite system of all time though, but Im a Sega fanboy
because mario cart is the shit son!seems like alot of people are actually into older gaming systems now than any current one. everyone i know has been talking about mario kart
That's because the kiddies today base thier idea of gaming around graphics and online multiplayer...My idea of a game was good gameplay, replay vaule, and overall fun. Hell me and my boys would spend hours arguing over streets of Rage, who whould skate or Roo. Then having all night sleep overs playing Sonic and Knuckles or DK 64. Also is it me or was the older system built to better standards. I've had my genesis, SNes, and N64 for over a decade. My genesis Ive had since 91. Only problem Ive had was a game not working, blow in the game and boom. 3 buttons of goodnessI agreee with boomin as well..
