I think the k2 line is a very accurate driver for under 1500.00 Most likely the best diver i have listen to under that dollar amount.

As far as the tweeters go, I am very much a flat/non-bright tweeter guy, and with the x-over at -6 I think the sound is fantastic, and very-very accurate. Am I biased? Sure, I sell focal, but none the less We have a/b'ed numerous sets of other top notch comp sets right next to the entire focal line and have yet to find another driver in the same dollar range +/- 100.00 that can beat them. At least to our liking, and taste.

Make sure you listen to the v2's first, some people dont like the mid on this set, I would say maybe get some access and amp them for sure.

All in all you cant go wrong.
