Gay Neighbor and Friend

I work at a place called crown trophy for my neighbor at an east-side location and had to drop off some things at my neighbor's house who works on the north side's location so she can have for the morning. Anyways I'm over there making conversation and her husband comes out and starts complaining how I come home late (2 nights ago it was 130) and claims his house was shaking and says he thought it was me and was "going to drop a brick on your windshield". At this point, I immediately apologize to the man and tell him I would never play my system past the entrance of the neighborhood (.7miles away) and especially that late at night. I mentioned a friend of mine has a pretty loud car (a couple 9500s) and that it may have been him and apologize for him being disturbed so late, but he kept making conversation about it and laid a guilt trip on me and basically had me sitting there thinking, "oh great, now i'm apologizing for something i didn't do, that doesn't seem obvious or anything". So I felt really awkward there next to his wife and kid as all I was doing was dropping off some things from the store and he comes out and attempts to call me out. If it was my friend with 9500s, I'll be pretty shitty with him.

That's the kind of shit that makes me want to drive by and give him a taste of what 4 L7s sound like at 4 in the morning and when he comes out, drop a brick on his face, but i'm a nice person and wouldn't go to that extent.

I forgot to tell the man I've been on lortabs the past few nights and can't even make it past 10:00 since I'm tired all of the time, which is why I slept from 6-9:15, when the lady called me. ****in people.

I can understand him being upset about being disturbed. However, in my mind, as soon as he made a threat against my person or my property the conversation would have ceased being civil at that point. Especially considering the fact that it was an accusation about something you didn't do (if, in fact, you didn't)

He would have been explained very clearly exactly why that would end up being a terrrible idea and then I'd have walked away.
