Yeah, well I hope to never meet them! With as many galaxies as we have within our universe, there simply has to be. Not to mention say a multi-verse theory or inter-dimensional beings.
lolI think some alien race dumped us here to get rid of our parasitic a$$es.
LMAO! I don't have enough likes or thanks to give for that post
OP, great troll! ?its funny how freedom of religion means you get to do whatever that religion, as you interpret it, says you can or should do. how in the phuck does letting gay people marry restrict your freedom of religion anyhow? if you have a job that you cant or wont perform for whatever reason get another job, has nothing to do with religion. can you imagine Muslims whining cause they got fired for not serving pork at the local BBQ hut because they dont approve of pork eaters? same thing...
oh and Buck is right, statistically its near impossible for there not to be tons of other species out there. chances are they are way more advanced than us too. and if that is the case, then I bet its safe to say that they've figured out how to get along w each other without petty prejudices and what not. I bet they decided a long time ago that we were way to uncivilized and savage to be allowed up there. We are like a cancer on this planet, we've most likely been quarantined to this rock until we either kill ourselves or sort ourselves out. I wouldn't want us up there with our collective pettiness if i was them.
The teaching of homosexuality in school is like allowing schools to teach about religion.the whole argument that a culture that makes homosexuality ok will lead to more ppl being homosexual is premised on the idea that ppl are making a choice to be gay. Now idk about anyone else but I never choose to be straight. Never once was that choice even a thought. i could have been exposed to all the "gay culture" in the world and it wouldn't have meant sh1t to me, cause I'm not gay. I think that the only ppl who think that LBGT's are making a choice must be thinking that cause they are making that choice. and if you're making that choice then I got news for you buddy, your gay. It's cool though, I won't judge you. You just couldn't turn me gay if I wasnt already gay, and if I'm already gay then who the phuck are you to tell me I cant be me? I think they should have the freedom (you that sh1t everyone is always crying about losing?) to be themselves
Now I think there is a whole other question about kids learning about ana1 5ex in school, gay or straight. lets just not conflate the issues.
I am kind of on the fence about forcing a business owner to serve ppl they don't want. Because I do see it as a choice they have the freedom to make. I was referring specifically to the op's sited situation. The public servant who won't fulfill her job as a public servant. And if I own a private business and I say that my employees have to serve gay ppl or pork then that's how the cookie crumbles. If you're the owner you have that right as well. Or you should at least. So I still believe the analogy still holds up. A Muslim employee either fulfills the job duties or gtfo while a Muslim business owner should be able to serve whatever and whomever they wish. Same for Christians.OP, great troll! ?
As long as that region doesn't interfere with others rights is what makes this country what it is. The Constitution is America. Without it we're nothing. Freedom is critical.
First off your example is really flawed.
1. It would be more like saying Muslim have to work at the pork place and they can't say no!
2. It's not the job that is religious, it's the person that's religious, and while you can leave a job you can't leave yourself.
3. It's not that they won't serve gay married couples. It's that they/we won't help celibate the wedding. There are lots of things I won't help celebrate. I'd even bet money there are are things that even you wouldn't help celebrate. Things is now we can't say no.
So yeah freedom for gays is just as important as anyone else's freedom just not More important than others freedoms. If my religion says I'm not to go to strip clubs, or swinging clubs or gay clubs. should not have the right to say no, that I won't go those kind of clubs? shouldn't you have the right to say no, you won't go into the church like that?
So it's ok to not serve black people at a restaurant if the owner doesn't want to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifI am kind of on the fence about forcing a business owner to serve ppl they don't want. Good catch... That is why I said I was on the fence about it. Cause there is always "that".So it's ok to not serve black people at a restaurant if the owner doesn't want to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
