Gasparilla '09....Who's Going???

Ive seen that more people on this forum from Tampa than anywhere else, and i gotta know. Who's going to the Gasparilla Day Parade this year? The citys gonna be a mess that whole first 2 weeks of feb, with the superbowl at Raymond James and then Gasparilla the following weekend, and myself and about 15 of my closest friends are flying down from RI to do Gasparilla right, for the 5th year in a row.

For those of you who don't know, Gasparilla is a two-week long Pirate fest that takes place in tampa. But dont be fooled, i know it sounds gey, but its actually alot like Mardi Gras. the night parade is kinda sketchy, but the day parade which take place usually 2 weeks later is the tits. literally and figuratively. It all takes place on Bayshore Blvd, (googlemap that shit. Bayshore Blvd, Tampa, FL 33606) i'd post my pics from the last few years, but theyre all on my facebook, and my shit is private as a mofo.

When i was in school there, my fraternity always used to post up in the same spot with a couple sororities from UT and USF, and we would always be right in the middle of the action. Its kegs galore, beads and boobies, coolers full of jungle juice and rum swizzle that my islander brothers would make, and we'd all start drinking around 7am. by the time the actual parade starts, at like 1 or 2, 90% of the people there are either blacked out or passed out. its a literal shitshow.

anyway, sorry for the long story, but i just booked my flight and im excited for the trip and seeing all my people. Who's gonna be there?
