Kind of a feeler - seeing if anyone is interested. Custom built, overclocked, etc. Here are the specs

  • Gigabyte P965 rev3,3 DS3 motherboard with solid caps (supports 45nm Quads and 1333mhz fsb natively - F11 BIOS installed) ::edit:: F13 bios sorry
  • Intel Core 2 E7200 3mb l2 cache 2.53Ghz @ 3.6ghz (400x9 runs same speed as ram)
  • Zalman 120mm copper heatsink/fan (very large)
  • 2GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2-800 Ram (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148208)
  • Radeon HD4850 512mb PCI-E Videocard
  • Mushkin 550W 20Ax2 12v modular Power supply with 120mm fan
  • Not sure of brand case - higher quality with rolled edges, toolless, 2 120mm fans
  • Lite-on 20x DVD Burner
  • Windows Media Center Edition legit with COA on side of case. Does not include disc, but I have a burned disc that works with that key which includes all drivers.
  • Linksys 54g Wireless Card (if not needed take $30 off price)
  • At this time I am not including HDD. I can order one of any size, install and setup Windows with whatever else including any programs I have available for just the price of the HDD.

Asking $750 obo shipped. Not going to bother with pics unless someone is seriously interested. looking to upgrade to Core i7. All parts still under warranty except motherboard. 24hr Prime stress tested, 18hrs of 3dmark2006 @16x12 4xaa with no problems at current overclock.

Not sure of current 3dmark06 score, but highest recorded was around 13,500 with everything overclocked as far as possible. Stable at 3.8 but voltages were getting a tad out of hand, 4.0 needs 1.5v to boot into Windows (way too much for 45nm cores). Load it maxes out in the upper 40s C. Idles upper 30's with Zalman.

Machine blasts through everything I've thrown at it. Generally leave Left 4 Dead on all the time when I'm not playing and I don't notice any lag in windows (that takes up around 1gb of system memory even). Crysis at high easily playable at 12x10. Far Cry 2 ultra high 12x10 (shadows high) 40ish FPS (drops to 20s during intense firefights). Every other game maxed at 16x12 no problems. DiRT maxed, Fallout 3 maxed, Mass Effect maxed, Left 4 Dead maxed 2xmsaa all at 16x12.

Local pickup available if you live near lansing. For $750 will include Logitech 5.1 surround sound, and can throw in 21" CRT for another $20 if you so choose (16x12, 18x13 max res). Let me know if you have any questions. Will run 3dmark06 again tonight and post screenie at current speeds.

Just let me know if interested, also put on local craigslist. If I don't get any interest by the end of the year or so will probably just keep it. Really want to build a computer that'll handle games at 1920x1200 maxed, but don't have the moniez unless this one sells. Throw out some reasonable offers and I'll see what I can do.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Stock video, oc'd cpu was a hair over 13k. I forgot screenies. Video overclocked to 1100mhz on mem, and 700 on core to get to around 13500. Have to get those tonight I guess.

Also, 3dmark score cannot be compared across different systems. The 8800gs/9600gso 3dmark extremely well when overclocked but are still rather slower than a 4850 or 9800gtx+. Its good to compare how well your computer overclocks are netting you though.

I want to do the same. My AMD 5000+ BE and 4850 ain't cutting it no more. I want a nice Intel quad and maybe a gtx280 or two. I think you'll have better luck breaking your PC down and selling it piece by piece. You may get less but you'll probably sell it all.

not selling the CRT except locally. That monitor would cost over $100 to ship.

^Blurred

You're probably right, but at this point I will probably keep it. I have enough money to get a new monitor, but not a new monitor and videocard (thats an upgrade from mine).

kind of off-topic. but I have a 22" dell flat panel LCD for sale cheap. it was 300$ brand new in july but I will sell it much lower than that. It is in perfect condition. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Not really off topic, but I'm getting a 24" or up. My monitor does 1600x1200 and I want to step up to 1920x1200 if I get a new one. Thanks for the offer though
