I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the boards are very similar to the Van Gogh series. If you look at the pics of the two, the placement of connectors/switches/pots are pretty much in the same specific area, just with slightly different arrangement. And many of the model specs are pretty similar between the two IIRC (can't find a list of the VGA series amplifier right now).

I am having some arguments over the soundstream VGA series, a lot of people say they were made in Korea but they are still labeled as made in the USA

The new Reference series won't be released in the U.S untill Jan '07

IIRC, there is a USA, Korea...

Not sure that Soundstream did get bought out, I think that they just outsourced their production because it doesn't make sense to pay someone $20+ an hour plus benefits for the same work that can be done for $5 and no benies. If the work can be done for $5 it's only worth $5.

they were bought out..... most were made in korea with the lower end models made in china... the made in the usa just means they were most likely "assembled" here.... same company as power acoustik now..

soundstream has been rebuilding these last couple years i think those refrence amps are gonna be really really nice
