i have this scan guage II that reads out aprox. mpg and when i floor it, its under 10mpg. but cruisein on the highway 35+ woot.

Yea my jeeps got that lil thing above me in the middle, I'll put it in neutral and coast down a hill and get like 99mpg lol. Then again if I'm going up hill I get a good 5-7...

my mom has a 2001 dodge durango R/T with a 5.9 V8these engines are beastly... and if you throw some bolt ons... your talking serious power.

I drive it every now and then ill hit 80 getting on the on ramp with the gas not even 1/2 way down and not even knowing it

so yes a dakota with a 5.9

edit: lightnings are cool and all but i definately think the lighter dakota with a huge engine will show you whats up.

i'll second that....the 5.9 limited jeeps in 98 could go 0-60 in 7 seconds or something like that....fastest SUV at the time.on a truck...im sure thatd be a bit faster

502 big block, typical engine mods. But its got enough NOS to blow up half a city block. Its street legal but its become too much for me to handle on the street. And it gets all of 2 mpg, on racing fuel.

anndd if its a 2 lane road and theres soneone in the other lane next to me.. i speed up to be exatly the same as the next person so there is absolutly no were for them to go
