these engines are beastly... and if you throw some bolt ons... your talking serious power.

I drive it every now and then ill hit 80 getting on the on ramp with the gas not even 1/2 way down and not even knowing it

so yes a dakota with a 5.9

edit: lightnings are cool and all but i definately think the lighter dakota with a huge engine will show you whats up.

I learned a good trick at losing tailgaters from a cab that cut me off that I then proceeded to ***-ride. He lightly hit his brake pedal just enough so the light would come on and gassed it at the same time. So I saw the brake light and slowed down as he was actually accelerating away from me. By the time I realized what had happend he was a goner.

Uhm, 1 lane is the most fun. I have two stories:

One, it was of this spoiled ***** (prob like 16, 18 ish) in a new BMW 3 series. She almost hit me in a 4 way stop (it was my turn) she tries to turn in front of me. Then she is so close to me (1 lane road btw) that i couldn't walk between it. I mean, i couldn't see half her hood. So i go 20 in a 30 to piss her off (no one was behind us) and she's flipping me off. So then i speed up and brake check her and she turns and flips me off again.

Second, i was going 25 in 25 (it has a sign that says it is strictly enforced, and i mean strictly, theirs normally a cop their at some point in the day). So i don't want a ticket, but the guy behind me does. But i'm nice, and i help him out. So I'm going 25, lah lah lah, and he is right behind me. I break check him, and i see in my rearview mirror he's like (WTF!?!). so then he tries to pass me on the right. Bad idea. Theirs a parked car he doesn't see and swirves left to avoid it. Brilliant. Then he pulls up next to me to take a right and flips me off.

When I get tailgated I just do the simple slow down trick. If they are really pissing me off, then I'll just speed up when they try to pass. My car runs in the low 13's so for the most part the tailgater can't get around me. LOL.

And I'll down shift into 3rd so my really annoying exaust is at it's most annoying!

here's another good one for when you're on somewhat-busy 4+ lane roads. When you're being tailgated, and the person finally goes around, and is gonna swoop between the car in front and to the left of you, just speed up ever so slightly to close that gap to where they have to slam on brakes. I used to do that to douchebags every day when I had to drive 30 minutes to school.

omg they are so much funso im in a 86 4runner and hes in some lifted F-250 that daddy bought him and hes tailgating me in a 30 when im goning like 33 then we get to a 35 and im like hell no im not speeding up if hes gonna tail gate meso i stay the same speed, do a couple break checks, he seemed pretty good at them, then he finally goes around me, i should of sped up w/ him but i couldn't downshift in time..................**** i wish a cop was there:fro:
