When I get tailgated I just do the simple slow down trick. If they are really pissing me off, then I'll just speed up when they try to pass.

My car runs in the low 13's so for the most part the tailgater can't get around me. LOL.

And I'll down shift into 3rd so my really annoying exaust is at it's most annoying!

here's another good one for when you're on somewhat-busy 4+ lane roads. When you're being tailgated, and the person finally goes around, and is gonna swoop between the car in front and to the left of you, just speed up ever so slightly to close that gap to where they have to slam on brakes. I used to do that to douchebags every day when I had to drive 30 minutes to school.

i dislike fords myself, but that lightning will walk all over a dakota without even breaking a sweat.
