if you got a girl and the two of you have a kid together and... your not married. who has rights to the child if you seperate? who gets custody? my buddy's girl just packed up and moved out and took the kid. i think it's fvcked up that she automatically thinks she has the right to take the kid. she even went as far as to file a restraining order against him soo he cant see his own child. crazy thing is... my buddy didnt do crap. she's seeing some other dude. all he does is work and provide for his family. women are ignorant as fvck.

ANTON.... tell your buddy to go get that kids now before she tries to leave the state. then tell him to get his *** to court like NOW and fill parenting papers and child support papers and also JOINT custity. If he doesnt jump all over this shit, she will end up winning. and if she even just leave the county, he will be in for a nightmare battle.

I have similar shit going on. MY Ex lives in a different county, so in order for me to do anything, I have to fcking travel 300 miles to that stupid court system to fight and change any existing orders....

Laws today are different than they were even 5 years ago pertaining to child custody. The father has a lot more rights than they used to. Used to be if the mother wasn't deemed an unfit mother, they would get custody. Now, the court will actually look into it if both parents are fighting for custody.

And it sounds like he is the main sorce of income and all. So if I were him, I'd get a lawyer. Especially if he wants custody.

Whatever you do, don't go busting in like bank robbers and take the kid. The court won't look kindly on breaking restraining orders, etc...
