i've been all over this country and here in Ohio it gets hot, yes it gets to be 100+...not often but it does. @ years ago in July i went to Houston for a week and it was 10 degrees hotter but alot dryer so it was much easier to take the heat. i was stationed in Columbus, Georgia and Leesville, Louisiana also spend plenty of time in Killeen and El Paso, texas and also in Ft Irwin and also in Death Valley California, been to Fort Huachucha (spelling?) Arizona as well. The heat and humidity in Louisiana was worst, but as far as humidity Ohio is not far behind.

And one time it snowed about 1/2" in Columbus GA and the governor just about declared a state emergency.
