Hey i just bought this amp for 200 dollars its a fusion nv am25001 i dont know much about fusion or this amp but after i bought it i looked it up on the interent and i cant find it anywhere for less than like 700 new so i think i got a good deal but cost doesnt mean a thing was wondering if anyone had some knowledge on it?

Im running that amp. I believe team h&k benched one at 2200+ watts at 1ohm at 12 volts. and supposedly it can run really low impendances without a problem. personally I think its a great amp! good find

i definately would if i could afford it... i got a good deal on the amp and subs so

200 for amp and 95 a piece for the L5s all three brand new

I dont know. is really efficient. I have a deka 9a31 batt and 1/0 wire and with gains set for 1300 watts at 1 ohm it didnt drop below 13.0 volts. and full tilt I dont have dimming headlights, but I dont know what type of drop i am actually getting. If you wanna go without any upgrades you could always just check the voltage compared to the gain and as long as it doesnt dip too bad youll be alright. I doubt youll see the full potential w/ stock though, but it should be more than enough for a couple L5s

i know caps arent a fix or anything but do you think i should get a cap?

no. I used one in a low power set up and it worked, but a battery is a much better investment and is much more effective.

I got rid of the cap when I added this amp and got a second batt

now i was thinking of adding another battery but was wondering if the stock altenator is strong enuf to power 2... and how hard is it to actually wire up another battery?

you cant really know until you try it. my stock alt is doing fine powering my batt. as far as wiring up another batter, it is extremely easy. about the same as you would do a cap.

so basically just try it and if what the batteries go below around 13.2 upgrade the alt??? and i heard you have to buy both the batteries at the exact same time is that true?
