Hey guys. Wondering if anyone had any reveiws on these set of 6.5 components.

Here are the specs

http://www.fusionelectronics.com/products.php?region=3&action=view&product_id=313

Im debating between these and the Cadence CWM6-KIT

http://www.cadencestore.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=126&idproduct=194

If anyone has any opinions or has tried either set, please let me know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

thanks

Most people are gonna tell you if you want a good set of comps, you shouldn't buy some online, you should go to local audio shops and listen, and let your ears do the choosing.......

P.S.- I have a friend who's telling me the Fusions are bada$$! But I also haven't heard anything bad about any Cadence products....

imo fusion is junk
have you heard fusion before? some of the stuff sounds pretty good. at least their old powerplant subs and amps were great. the comp set i heard arent going to win you any sq comps but they got the job done.

JLMaster, I agree on going to an audio shop and listening to them myself, but not many shops around here have Cadence or Fusion //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Anyways, I have a set of 5.25" Alpine Type-S's coaxles so im sure both will sound much more promising.

Also, im in a small extended cab pickup so anything is going to get loud im just looking for something that sounds more solid and not so "tinny"

do you have a set amount of money you want to spend? start a thread asking for suggestions. theres tons of people here that could suggest good sets in whatever price range you have.

is there a specific reason youve narrowed down to cadence or fusion?

Sounds like a good idea SRim23, the thing is I only have about 75$ and I feel like a cheap-*** starting a thread for 75$ components.
dont know if you saw my edit but is there a reason you have narrowed to fusion or cadence?

hey i bought my polk momo (regular 300 retail) on here for 90 bucks shipped from another member.. sure they were used but they were in almost mint condition. you never know what ur going to find

hell everyone on here loves the phoenix gold RSD's and those can be had for 90 brand new.

I've narrowed it down to these two (was originally going to get the PG RSD's) because of what people have said on the board.

I've heard that these fusions are extremely amazing for the price. Supposely better the Polk, Bostons, the list goes on.

I also talked to someone who recently purchased the Cadence set and he likes them better then his PG RSD's and said they're comparable to a high-end component set he has the only reason they're not as good is because there power handling, but the other ones are 3x the price.
