Well I got a great deal on one of these woofers, and decided to buy it. Well, I am going to build a box this sunday if weather permits, so I need some suggestions.

Since its a 10" it the manual suggests a little ove 1 cube ported to 42hz, however I think it is on the small side, and dont want it to sound too peaky. I wanted to do 1.25 ported to 35hz.

something like this

I was planning on powering it with an Alpine MRP-M350 which puts out 350 RMS @ 2ohm if it matters.

The T/S specs are:

Max Power Rating (Watts):400

RMS Power Rating (Watts):200

Coil Height (Hvc): 22

Compliance (Cms): 341.8

Cone Area (Sd): 34.9

D.C. Coil Resistance (Re): Dual 3.5

Electrical Q (Qes): 0.412

Force Factor (Bl): 16.305

Free Air Resonance (Fs): 29.8

Frequency Response: 25Hz - 3.5kHz

Impedance (Nominal): Dual 4

Linear Excurson (Xmax): 7

Mechanical Excursion (mm): 20

Mechanical Q (Qms): 3.691

Moving Mass (Mms): 83.55

Magnet Structure (Oz): 47

Sensitivity (dB) (1W/1M): 87.7

Total Loudspeaker Q (Qts): 0.37

VAS (L): 59.13

VAS (CuFt): 2.06

perhaps I was too vague. I was looking on some recomendations for a ported box, leaning to sq for a woofer with these specs.

I know that some companies post the smallest box possible, just so people would buy it, so any suggestions?
