so i live in IL..not a big big state for car audio but still...so here we go..i go into my local shop because i need some 1/0 guage and the owner proceeds to ask me what i am running, or rather using this wire for. i tell him two Audioque HD315's. he ahs no idea what AQ is nor does he know what DD is. then he goes on to tell me his close friend whose name was alex hit 165 off of two tens and he didnt even have a HU, he was using a clock radio. the time before when i went he told me the same guy hit a 161 with the same setup. then he tells me he is going to run four of the hifonics Brutus subs because he is usually a SQ guy, but hes selling out because the hifonics subs light up blue. i was like oh are those the 1600 rms ones. and he was like well yes but hifonics makes some good products, so you can usually give them their max power (3200 watts).

he then goes on to tell me he is going to hit 160 off of those 4 square hifonics light up blue subs and two hifonics brutus bxi2006. he has a pic of a car his shop did in the back behind him in a frame. the car is on with headlights and all and the cap is reading 11.6 on the voltmeter on top of it. needless to say i listen to nothing this guy says. i just want to watch him put 3200 on those hifonics subwoofers.
