Fun things to do in Chicago?

Im from aurora....

Unfortunately the weather is being shitty as **** right now. Otherwise riding the train To chi town and drinking on the way is fun. Navy pier, clubs, bars. Theres quite a bit to do Downtown chicago. Not to say you couldnt do that now.

Do you mean Auroura? It is actually a bit of a distance from Chichago, I know some people from there, so I usually go there a bit, there are some decent clubs around there, but it can be dangerous, lots of gang shit.

Cheesecake factory too expensive? where do you guys go to eat? i mean if you are comparing it to like Dennys then sure too expensive but everytime ive been to cheesecake factory its been pretty comparable to places like Longhorn, Macaroni Grill, or Outback.

hell my girl and i were at cheesecake factory about 3 weeks ago and we both got 2 drinks a piece, appetizer, dinner, and 2 pieces of cheesecake and the bill was like 60 bucks....wasnt cheap but it wasnt outrageous for what we got.

when i went to chicago 2 years ago i liked navy pier alot. of course it was summer when we went. around this time might not be so nice. got my picture taken with the michael jordan statue. that made my trip! the 30 bucks for parking sucked *** though. nicest parking garage ive ever parked it but 30 bucks holy hell!

I've lived here all my life, I'm 10 minutes from aurora. Best bars around are in downtown Naperville. Tons of women. You can always hit up downtown St. Charles as well off of route 64. There are about 5 bars on one tiny little stretch, excellent for bar hopping (don't need to drive as the bars are literally right next to each other.)
Chicago is lame, only good things are the berghoff and wrigley field. And most of the bars out there are packed with guido assholes, I can't stand the city.

i find it hilarious and kind of sad people are suggesting going to the cheesecake factory...i mean, why not just go to chili's or burger king..why go somewhere you can go in virtually every major city..
rush st is pretty much as good as it gets for partying in chicago, imo anyway..

food...

get some italian beef somewhere recommended by a local..

pizza from palermo's is pretty end all, be all

ed debivics if fun

as stated, museums are world class...cubs/*sigh* white sox game, shedd aquarium..both the brookfield and lincoln park zoo are awesome..
