Fukkin Mavericks...

Thank God that Stack stays...we would of really been out on a limb if he had left too. All in all though, it really isn't that bad of a trade. J-Ho and Dirk can take turns playing Center for Dampier when he's either in foul trouble or tired, Kidd has the ability to control the tempo of the game and take charge, and we STILL have the General on the sideline...remember that.

Mavs will lose tonight :p Kidd will get owned by CP3 eheheheh //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Maybe. Paul is definitely one of the better young players in the league.

But any bets on who gets further in the playoffs? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Marion could not play center if he wanted to and neither can Amare. You know who was the happiest person in Phoenix when they got Shaq? Amare. He hates playing center and has said in public that his body has been banged up really badly because of having to bang against bigger centers. If you think Amare is good as a center, watch him when he gets to play PF again. But neither of them are well suited to play center.

Carter was considered an All-Star before "injuries" slowed him down. Since his career began in Toronto (I say this as a Raptors fan), he has been picking and choosing when he plays hard. He is a lazy player who can't make important shots but is famous for the 2000 dunk contest and "French Toast." But he is a perennial all-star because NBA fans love the highlight reel and that's all he's good for...or at least was good for when he drove the lane. Now he floats. But you're **** right on Jefferson.
About Marion. Guy could play center if he wanted too. Is not his natural position. Anyone that watches Marion plays know he is a Small Foward, but really he can play anywhere. One of the highest jumpers in the league and overall has an excellent game. He was just unhappy in Phoenix and didn't like that he wasn't getting attention. He is all about himself anymore, or so it seems. Piss on him anymore IMO. Still can ball though.

I didn't know Amare said that, thought it was the coaches, but either way he is in reality a PF that was playing C due to them not really having a C. So in that retrospect I understand picking Shaq up. Just not sold on the old shaq, compared to the Prime Shaq. We shall see though.

I wish Carter would come to Cleveland though and man could you imagine that. Yeah, he is lazy right now, cause he is on a shit team. Still putting up good numbers. Oh well, that would never happen. I also don't get trading him to Indy for Jermaine O'Neil. Don't make sense to me.

So who got the better end of the deal?...

Devin Harris: 23.7ppg(6th), 6.4apg(11th), 3.3rpg(137th), 1.6spg(16th)

Jason Kidd: 8.9ppg(130th), 8.4apg(6th), 6.4rpg(49th), 2.6spg(2nd)

Also, keep in mind the Nets are paying Harris $7.8mil this year, whereas the Mavs are paying Kidd $21.4mil.

considering Harris has MIP on lock right now, and probably a coach's vote in for the ASG, not to mention he's over a decade younger, and paid less than half while performing better...it's pretty clear...Mavericks got the better end of the deal lol....

Kidd is actually not doing too bad right now for the Mavs, he's fitting much better than last season...but still, Cuban got teh ****...just goes to show you, never trade with Rod Thorn, you will get screwed...

I can't stand Kidd. He can't shoot under pressure and can't defend a tree stump. Harris is probably in the top 3 in PGs when it comes to quickness and defensive abilities. Hell, I remember him leaving Tony Parker in the dust several times last year. Not to mention he's probably the only PG who can guard Parker and Paul effectively for an entire game. I love seeing how well he's doing this year...good for him. It has made me a little bit of a Nets fan. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

forget under pressure, Kidd cant shoot...he's never been a good shooter...on defense, at one time, he was a good defensive player, even made some all defense teams...oh well...
