Ok so I have a 05 single cab chevy. I was planning to put 4 memphis S class 12"s behind the seat in a sealed box and push em with a SAZ-1500D v.2. Then I started reading the 8" vs Shallow threads and reviews and got to researching. Some of the videos of the SA8's are just savage so now im thinking 4 of those in between my seats in a ported box would be insane. However from what ive read and been told center bass looses db vice the sub being in the "corner". What do yall think and is the db loss guna be significant or will it be made up by the better excursion and ported box with the 8's?

If the box for the 12's is too small then it is probably lacking output, 8's in a recommended volume ported box would beat 12's in a undersized sealed box all day

Theyre suggested space is .5ft3 a piece to the 12s would be put into a 4 .5 chamber box behind the seat, the 8s are rated to be put specifically in a .5-.6 ft3 ported which the box would be built in the same manner just ported but down the middle of the truck instead of behind the seat
