You about have to with gas price these days.

Also, while sitting in heavy traffic at a red light, I shut off my engine ... That helps quite a bit even in my small town ... Just make sure you're paying attention to the other lights at the intersection so you know when to turn your car on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

While you are at it why not just get a big old sub say 34 inches and a couple of amps and make a nice tube to direct airflow and use that to propell yourself along. Then everyonce and awhile turn your car on to charge the battery.

well if u have atruck, which i do, there are a few things u can doto get better gas mileage

1.more free flowing exhaust

2.have ur windows UP...i have a reg cab and i lose alot of mpg cuz of the wind resistance on the back glass.

3.get a toneau cover (or do it the redneck way like me and let the tailgate down)

4.i plan on getting my truck lowered.might help a little but not sure.

right now i'm gettin maybe 18 mpg and i dont do any of the above except the windows up sometimes.

gas is so high because they're saving 2x the amount of oil they're supposed to each day. We're around 2.05 here in SD. I remember a few years back gas used to be .88 cents!

It actually sky rocketed by my house when there was news of a diesel spill. It went to $2.37 for regular. I think it has come down to $2.27 for regular, but I'll have to check on that.

$2.17 in California @ the moment right now but when summertime hits im not suprised if it goes up to $3.00+.... You'd think the time soilders spent in middle east we would have control over the oil and gas prices would finally drop =/
