Fuel injector?..or what?

My dad has a 1995 Impala with the 350 LT1...all of a sudden it has started blowing fuses....the same 10 amp fuse every time....on the fuse box it says it is for the fuel injectors....when the fuse blows the car barely has any power...and one time the car shut off completely, the only thing that stayed on was the lights on the dash....what is making this fuse blow, and if it is an injector, does he have to replace all of them or can he just repleace one...and it he can replace the bad one, how does he know how to find out which one that is?

you have a problem much bigger then a bad injector.

I would have to think there is a wire grounding out.

you need a copy of the GM factory service manual, http://www.helminc.com and a nice DVM.

check the main ground wire for the injectors as well...it could be coming loose

yeah i doubt its bad injectors, but for future reference its smart to replace all injectors even if only 1 is bad

he found the problem....but he replaces all the injectors anyway...

one of the brackets for a hose wasnt bolted to the car...and a side of it had punctured the wiring harness....
