FUCKk usps

My experience is similar. I've always used USPS and have had no issues until the last couple months. I think it's due to cutbacks in their budget. I bought a $5 part for my snow blower off eBay, the guy sent it USPS first class. It took over 3 weeks to arrive. Should have been less than 5 days.
That is a good point. It probably is because of cut backs.

One time I bought a car part from a guy lived in another state. USPS delivered it to a house 20 miles from me. And the supervisor on the phone said the guy who shipped it to me must have made a mistake. LOL The guy lived in another state. How would he write someone else's address. He was mad when he had to send me another part.

i used usps a while back did a trade with matt bennett 05 for my subs for his eq ,insured them for @200.well when he got them the box was so jacked up and one of the subs was practically falling out of it .we went round and round about this and usps only paid $65 saying that the subs were old .i proceeded to tell them that they were mint when shipped and why would they pay only 65 when they were insured for 200.they stuck by their decision and screwed me over.last time i shipped to canada i sent 4 cdt es6mo mids ,they damaged 3 out of the 6 and took 9 months to pay.still only paid a partial of what they were insured for.now i only use them for very small non insured items only and 3 day flat rate.had issues with ups as well but they did pay quickly.
those insurance horror stories are ridiculous. So, it's basically "we don't agree with your valuation, you get ours... bitch." ???

Those are some awful stories. I am definitely done with USPS.

That is also why I dont bother insuring. They usually screw you over or take forever to pay you.

I have a claim with UPS right now. It has been 3 months and I am still waiting on them.

USPS lost a job application that took me ~40 hours to complete. They told me that there was a "glitch" and that my tracking number didn't exist, it never made it to it's destination.

Sorry you had all of those issues, but why wouldn't you insure such an expensive amp?

I just didn't feel it was necessary. My friend lives 5 hours away from me...I don't see how that can get "lost". Most likely someone who worked there stole it.

And wow. Are you kidding me. I would be furious. Did you have to write up a new app? or did you have it saved?

Customs wanted you to pay $85 in taxes?
Taxes/duties from customs was around 30 but ups added on another 60+ for brokerage and some other fees ( dhl only charges 2.5% of goods value for these fees n through usps-canadapost u might get charged their 8$ flat fee though i never have)

wow. they make a killing off of international shipping.

Oh I didn't notice that it was only going that far.

It was all hand written, it was an app/test type thing and it did cost me the job. I was NOT pleased, and they refused to refund my ~$12 until I made a big deal about it.

why are u shipping amps to zed? there is a local shop to me that does unbeleavable work and resonably priced

I bought two 1/0 fuse holders off here, they took over two weeks to arrive. When they did they were no longer in the original shipping envelope. The addresses and labels from the envelope had been cut off and taped to a box, which had ” USPS its sorry your item was damaged” stamped all over it. The fuse holders were fine tho.
I shipped two amps to zed a week ago. Track and confirm shows them still here in town.

I bought a CD of Ebay. It arrived flawless, other than a big azz crack in it.

usps should not be used to deliver packages , i know its cheapper but iof you ever try to open a claim its like pulling teeth, going on 1 month im still waiting for them to reply and i have all proof repair quote an only asking for the repair amount .

One is a zed autotek model 88, the other its a dd A4. I wanted zed to do the autotek anyways, so I just sent both.
