same here. I've never had a problem until this year. And there tracking system does ****. The supervisor on the phone told me there best tracking method is only on items shipped express mail.Usps has failed me several times this year as well. Never had any issues until this year. My items always got to their new owners but sometimes two or three weeks late. The usps tracking system is a joke too. Pretty sure I still have a tracking number for a sub that was delivered months ago that according to usps tracking is still in Dallas,TX . Should have never seen Dallas anyhow.
Customs wanted you to pay $85 in taxes?canadians like myself who buy stuff from US or overseas like usps/federal post services, because 99% of the time is saves us customs/brokerage charges(we get away with it)......with ups n fedex ...a lot of the time they dont release the item unless we pay (the sometimes ridiculous) charges(and we have no idea what they will be beforehand) or they drop the stuff without saying anything and few weeks later we get a bill saying we owe such and such for brokerage and other fees.
i ordered a pair of subs few yrs ago off ebay and my total after ups shipping was 215 but after delivery and the extra charges(that i was totally unaware of until the guy showed up) i had to pay on my doorstep it ended up being over 300
so your with me adam? Time to use a different carrier. USPS has made too many costly mistakes last month for me to trust them.I bought two 1/0 fuse holders off here, they took over two weeks to arrive. When they did they were no longer in the original shipping envelope. The addresses and labels from the envelope had been cut off and taped to a box, which had ” USPS its sorry your item was damaged” stamped all over it. The fuse holders were fine tho.
I shipped two amps to zed a week ago. Track and confirm shows them still here in town.
I bought a CD of Ebay. It arrived flawless, other than a big azz crack in it.
That is what I thought when I shipped my Audison. It took 6 days for my last amp to get to my friend in michigan. And now my amp has been gone for over 40 days...They are so up and down its crazy. One week I ship parcel post to Louisiana and it gets there in three days. Next week I ship an amp priority mail to Texas and it takes three weeks to get there after spending two weeks of that time in ALASKA!!!!!! I was impressed that they actually updated the tracking info but nearly **** myself when I saw alaska in the tracking update.
It depends. I have had countless items shipped to me, without any issues at all. This past month has been fucked up, though.so your with me adam? Time to use a different carrier. USPS has made too many costly mistakes last month for me to trust them.
Same here. I think I have been shipping through USPS for 5 years now. I have used UPS maybe 5 times. And this is the first time USPS has caused any issues. But losing that amp was just too much. I paid $300 for it. And then had to replace it for another $630.It depends. I have had countless items shipped to me, without any issues at all. This past month has been fucked up, though.
I would have just waited until i found another used one, and used a cheap four and two channel in the meantime. ...But when you are buying something that high-end, its nice to have a warranty.Same here. That is the funny part about it. Those Audisons used are worth $550-700 in the U.S.I would have just waited until i found another used one, and used a cheap four and two channel in the meantime. ...But when you are buying something that high-end, its nice to have a warranty.
