So for my entrepreneurial management class, our project for the first six weeks was to design a product, and write a business plan around it. These plans would be entered into a statewide competition and the finalists will spend a weekend in Little Rock presenting their projects before venture capitalists.

Well, my idea for a product was a fuel saving device that indicates how efficiently the driver is operating the vehicle. It would be a simple device that plugs into the OBD2 port and would work for any post-1996 vehicle.

Well apparently, I'm just a freakin innovator because out of 60+ teams who enter the contest, 16 are selected as finalists (I think) and get to go to Little Rock. My team was one that made it, so now we get to work our ***** off reworking the project- the business plan, the financials, sales forecasts, etc. We also have to make a powerpoint and rehearse our ***** off. If we win, it's 5 g's for us.
